How Students Book A Lesson

- Students choose a teacher from the column on the left.
- Students contact the teacher to enquire of the teachers availability and rate
- Agree to meet at a certain time and place.
- Payment for the lessons occurs after the first lesson (some teachers charge less for the first lesson).
Cost of the service
Unlike other tutoring services which charge students to find a teacher, our teacher - student placement service is free. Students pay teachers directly at the teachers set fee.We recommend the teachers charge according to the followng table:
A tutor with less than 1 year experience: Y1000 - Y2000 per hour.
A tutor with 1 year - 3 years experience: Y2000 - Y3000 per hour.
A tutor with over 3 years expereince: Y3000 + per hour.
I have been tutoring English for over 5 years and still charge Y3000 for 1-1 lessons, however I am now focussing on mainly group lessons. Where I charge ~Y2500pp per lesson for adults.

Mecha Japan - English tutor service is based in Osaka and is continually growing as we teachers register in various cities around Japan.
Mecha Japan's founder is a primary school trained teacher from Australia, who had also worked for almost 3 years teaching English in Japan prior to starting the tutoring service.
